Waterfalls also help prevent the pond from completely freezing over in the winter. A further advantage of streams and waterfalls is that they attract wildlife, such as birds and frogs, in to your garden. The waterfall also provides an ideal habitat for aquatic insects. These then become natural food for your fish as they wash into the pond.
Streams are generally constructed using a continuous length of Flexible Pond Liner (Epalyn being the best choice).
Waterfalls can be constructed using the same method but pre-formed waterfall sections are much quicker and easier to install.
